1.Good heat resistance:
Made by melt spinning, it is a thermoplastic fiber with a high melting point and good heat resistance among synthetic fibers. But at the same time, its melting resistance is poor, and it is easy to form holes when encountering soot, sparks, etc.
2. Good thermoplasticity:
The internal molecules are tightly arranged, the thermoplasticity is good, and pleated skirts can be made, and the pleats are long-lasting.
Poor hygroscopicity: Under normal atmospheric conditions, the moisture regain is only 0.4%. This may cause a stuffy feeling when wearing, and it is easy to carry static electricity and get dusty, but it is very easy to dry after washing, and the wet strength hardly decreases, does not deform, and has good washable and wearable properties.
3. Acid and weak alkali resistance:
The action with concentrated alkali at room temperature or dilute alkali at high temperature will destroy the fiber.
4. Good color fastness and not easy to fade:
Because there is no specific dyeing group on the polyester molecular chain and the polarity is small, the dye molecules are not easy to enter the fiber.
5. Corrosion resistance:
It is resistant to bleach, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. It is resistant to dilute alkali and mildew, but hot alkali can decompose it. It also has strong acid and alkali resistance and UV resistance.
