1. Basic Definition & Production

Solid Polyester Staple Fiber (abbreviated as Solid PSF) is the most conventional type of polyester staple fiber, processed from PET chips or recycled PET bottle flakes. The whole production covers high-temperature melt spinning, stretching, curling shaping and fixed-length shearing, turning continuous polyester filament into discrete short fibers. Its full-solid circular cross-section is the core feature distinguishing it from hollow conjugated siliconized fiber (HCS fiber) and other hollow polyester variants.

High mechanical stability: High tensile strength and abrasion resistance, solid structure ensures long-term structural stability, not easy to loose or deform under continuous extrusion; excellent shape retention, anti-wrinkle and anti-shrink after repeated washing.
