During the National Day holiday, international crude oil futures plummeted significantly. The international Brent oil price has surged towards 100 yuan per barrel, but has fallen short of 84 dollars per barrel. The rapid decline in oil prices for several consecutive days has shown the market the collapse of hopes for a soft landing for the US economy under the soaring US bond yields. However, the rapid decline in oil prices has also made stock market investors hope for a positive stimulus from further lower inflation expectations. Under such expectations and reality, oil prices and the US dollar will continue to "trade hands" in the medium to long term.
