Variables in the polyester market are at the terminal

    As far as the polyester market is concerned, the phenomenon of disguised sales promotion by polyester factories is relatively common, and it is maintained at the point in time when downstream centralized replenishment. Polyester factories have adopted profit-sharing promotions to increase production and sales. Usually, promotional activities with an indeterminate time will be carried out after the finished products have accumulated a large amount of inventory, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing inventory and continuing stable production.
    Among the raw materials PTA, MEG and polyester products, most of the current industry chain adopts the contract system, so the replenishment situation is not particularly prominent. From the perspective of the terminal weaving market, there are stages in the downstream stocking nodes. Usually, the promotion cycle of polyester yarn matches the stocking cycle of terminal weaving raw materials. When there is a rigid demand for terminal weaving raw materials to stock up, polyester factories usually choose two ways to reduce prices to promote or stabilize polyester prices when raw materials rise, so as to transfer profits to downstream. The promotion will increase the production and sales of polyester, ease the pressure on polyester inventory, and smooth the downstream demand of the industrial chain.
    The recent performance of polyester products is relatively weak, and the expected downstream replenishment demand is not strong.     Affected by the high temperature, the chemical enterprises affected by power cuts in Jiangsu and Zhejiang mainly focus on the PTA, ethylene glycol, and polyester industry chains. The impact may first be reflected in the terminal link. However, as far as the current situation is concerned, the start-up of all links in the industrial chain is still maintained at a relatively high level, and the demand has not dropped significantly. There is still a rigid demand for inventory replenishment in the near future.
